Christian Burke

As Head of Engineering and Lead Data Scientist, Christian Burke leads several specialty teams at Refik Anadol Studio. In the studio based in LA, Christian Burke helps his team of experts to train algorithms to generate Refik’s digital art. In his career, he’s amassed 3 billion+ images from public sources to use in Refik Anadol’s AI-generated art. Most notably, Christian Burke played a key role in Refik's Unsupervised exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art, an exhibit that blends 200 years of art data with environmental inputs via machine learning.
