Stuart Lumsden

I am a creative photographer who is obsessed with design, everything around us is designed for a particular purpose, the shape, the size, the function, I love interacting with these forms and that it was drew me to the world of photography. It was approximately 2 years ago that I bought my first 'serious' camera, a Fuji Finepix S2000HD (I can hear the laughter almost immediately), this little bridge camera served it's purpose well and gave me some good grounding for composition and approach. I quickly moved up to the Nikon D5000 in February 2010, and that's when things changed for me, discovering how shutter speed, ISO and aperture all play a part in an image was like poetry to me, and as I grew I learned so much more along the way. I don't need to bore you with all the details, your probably reading this blog because you have an interest in photography or you may have seen the link on my flickr stream, however you came across this blog I hope you like it, it's my first.
